Job Title: Program Manager 

 

Job Description: Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Program Manager will be responsible for the success of Afro Pride Federation Inc’s  HELO program ensuring seamless team management, recruiting, development, program delivery, quality control, and evaluation. In this role, the Program Manager will manage a growing coalition and will also be the key external face of Afro Pride in the community. We are searching for a talented and professional candidate to maintain operational community outreach activities. You will represent the company and work with the Executive Director and the management team to develop and implement initiatives that increase company visibility within the surrounding community. You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven to take on this exciting role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.

Qualifications: This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with team management experience to grow and further develop a proven program. The successful candidate will lead programs, partner with the ED, and work collaboratively with a high-performance management team.

 

Specific requirements include:

  • Minimum of a BA, MA preferred 

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in team management and/or coalition-building. 

  • Demonstrated success in developing and evaluating program models and successfully selecting and operationalizing innovative programming. 

  • Proficient in using technology as a management reporting tool and experience working with information technology staff to develop and implement program evaluation systems 

  • Strength in recruiting, managing, developing, coaching, and retaining individuals and teams. 

  • Plan programs from start to finish, including identifying processes, deadlines, and milestones.

  • Develop and implement strategies that will maximize the synergies among program areas.

  • Nurturing new and old relationships with collaborative partners. 

  • Scheduling regular outreach exhibitions in the community. 

  • Develop quarterly and annual reporting for Executive Director.
