Afro Pride Federation Inc of South Florida, in collaboration with OUR FUND Foundation, is looking to hire playwriters and screenwriters for the ARC Project. This project is a devised playwork that addresses the social and racial issues of the LGBTQIA+, Black & BIPOC communities. All genres are accepted drams, comedy, musicals, songs, monologues, etc. Writers will collaborate with actors to construct a completed devised work for full production within a 6-8 week period. Writers accepted to the ARC Project will be compensated for each work performed. Writers are asked to submit a statement of interest and a one-page writing sample to ARC Project Art Director, T.M Pride at tmpride@afroprideflorida.org. The deadline for submissions is August 4, 2022, at 7:00 pm( EST).
